WorkOrders
Built with tradies since 2012

Turn inbox chaos into organised work orders

The jobs are already arriving — in the office inbox, on someone's phone, buried under three forwards. WorkOrders reads that mail, turns each request into a job with an owner and a due date, and keeps the customer in the loop while your crew gets on with it.

No credit card. Nothing to install. Cancel whenever you like.

Everything that already happens, written down once

You don't need a new process. You need the one you've got to stop living in four inboxes, a whiteboard and a group chat.

Email in

Every request lands in one place

Connect the inbox the work already comes to — Gmail or any IMAP mailbox. WorkOrders watches it, and every genuine request becomes a work order with the original email, its attachments and the whole thread attached to it.

Nothing is deleted and nothing is moved out of sight: processed mail is labelled, so the mailbox still reads the way your office manager expects it to. If we ever get it wrong, the email is right there.

Dispatch

The right person, told once

Assign a job and the technician gets it on their phone — with the site, the contact, the urgency and every photo already attached. No forwarding, no "did you see that one I sent you".

New, assigned, ongoing, completed. Four states, because a job board a plumber won't update is a job board that lies to you.

Customers

They hear from you without you writing anything

When a job is picked up, worked and closed out, the person who asked for it gets an update — as a reply to their own email, from your firm, signed off the way you sign off. Not a notification from software they've never heard of.

It's the single biggest drop in "any update on that?" phone calls most crews see in their first month.

AI triage

Reads the email so nobody has to decode it twice

Requests turn up as a paragraph with no subject, a phone number in the middle of a sentence and the address only in the signature. WorkOrders pulls the job out of it: a plain summary, how urgent it reads, the site, the contact, and what trade it needs.

The original email is kept in full, attachments and all. Every extracted field is editable — you have the last word, not the model.

Attachments get described too, so a photo of a corroded valve is searchable rather than being a file called IMG_4471.jpeg. Everything the model produces is a suggestion sitting in an editable field — it never sends anything to a customer on its own.

An iPhone app your crew will actually open

Today's jobs, the details, the photos, and three taps to move a job from assigned to ongoing to done. Status changes land back in the office the moment they happen, and the customer's update goes out off the back of them.

It is the same app the legacy crews have carried for years, still talking to the same API — so a firm coming across from the old system doesn't have to retrain anybody on day one.
